RAK Transport Authority

Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority is the government authority responsible for regulating and developing the transport sector within Ras Al Khaimah. Its activities cover passenger transportation, taxis, public transport and other mobility-related services and regulatory functions. The authority supports the development of integrated and increasingly technology-enabled transport services in the emirate. It works with public and private transport operators and develops initiatives intended to improve mobility and transport efficiency. RAKTA has also been involved with smart mobility and digital transportation services. As a Government of Ras Al Khaimah authority, its emirate assignment is unambiguous.
